Dr. Joyce Bright pediatric dentist Dr. Joyce was born in Taiwan and grew up in Palo Alto, CA. She received her bachelors degree in Biochemistry from UCSD, and her doctorate degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry. She then completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Southern California as well as Children's Hospital Los Angeles. In addition to spending time with children at the office, Dr. Joyce loves going on hikes, practicing yoga, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, trying out new restaurants and traveling with her husband. |
Dr. Elizabeth Kim PEdiatric Dentist Orthodontist Dr. Liz was born in South Korea and grew up in Seattle, WA. She received her bachelor’s degree in Cell Molecular Biology and her doctorate degree in dentistry from the University of Washington. She completed her specialty training in orthodontics at Columbia University in New York and became board certified in orthodontics. Dr. Liz's passion for providing comprehensive care for children led her to pursue further training in pediatrics at UCSF to become dual-specialized in orthodontics and pediatric dentistry. During her spare time, Dr. Liz enjoys spending time with her husband and their two sons, Nathan and Nicholas. She enjoys going to the museums and fun family events, traveling, watching movies, and rooting for the Warriors. |
Dr. Aeen Aflaatuni Pediatric dentist Dr. Aeen was born in Iran, attended elementary school in Canada until settling down in San Jose, CA with his family. He received his bachelor’s degree in Genetics from UC Davis and his doctorate degree from University of the Pacific. He completed a general practice residency with a focus in Hospital Dentistry at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York and conducted his specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Southern California. In his spare time, Dr. Aeen enjoys volunteering, both abroad such as in Latin America, and in local communities through the California Dental Association. Dr. Aeen also enjoys teaching and is not shy of a large audience. While not practicing dentistry, you can find Dr. Aeen playing recreational soccer and traveling to different cities with his friends. |
Dr. Irene Ching PEDIATRIC DENTIST Dr. Irene is a native of San Francisco, CA. She left California for the East Coast to obtain her bachelor’s degree in Biology at Georgetown University before returning home to the Bay Area and earning both her master’s degree in Global Health Sciences and her doctorate degree at UCSF. She completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Southern California. She believes in empowering children and their families to be proactive about prevention through a personalized approach. Outside of the office, Dr. Irene enjoys cheering on the Warriors, cooking and baking in the kitchen, hiking coastal trails, and practicing pilates. |
Dr. Kenny Tse Jr. PEdiatric Dentist Dr. Kenny grew up in Pasadena, California. He received his bachelor’s degree in sociology from Pitzer College and graduated from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1998. He completed his specialty training in pediatric dentistry at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York where he was chief resident. Dr. Kenny's greatest joy is spending time with his wife and their autistic son. A black lab (Champ) and pit bull (Otto) round out their family. It has been said that he has an unhealthy love of cars and motorcycles. In his spare time you might find Dr. Kenny on the racetrack racing cars. He is also the inventor of the ReadyCap camera lens cap holder. |
