​Dr. Kenny grew up in Pasadena, California. He received his bachelor’s degree in sociology from Pitzer College and graduated from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1998.  He completed his specialty training in pediatric dentistry at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York where he was chief resident.  Dr. Kenny's greatest joy is spending time with his wife and their autistic son.  A black lab (Champ) and pit bull (Otto) round out their family.  It has been said that he has an unhealthy love of cars and motorcycles.  In his spare time you might find Dr. Kenny on the racetrack racing cars.

Dr. Kat was born and raised in Orange County. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from UCLA, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude, and received her doctorate degree from UCSF.  Nominated by faculty, Dr. Kat was awarded the Craig Memorial Scholarship by the Rho Rho Chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU), National Dental Honor Society, for outstanding scholarship and ethical character.
  Dr. Kat worked as a general dentist in San Anselmo before starting her orthodontic residency at the University of the Pacific. Recognizing the importance of providing research-based treatment, she maintains her position as an Instructor of Orthodontics and works closely with the orthodontic Department Chair at UOP. In addition, she has been an associate in private practice since she graduated in 2012.
 Dr. Kat is a board-certified orthodontist and an active member of the following professional associations: American Association of Orthodontists, California Society of Orthodontists, and Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists. She also serves on the alumni committee for the Pacific Orthodontic Chapter of the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry Alumni Association.
 Dedicated to excellence and patient-centered care, Dr. Kat is a compassionate orthodontist who strives to ensure that patients enjoy high-quality results. She looks forward to working with our dental team to help patients achieve healthy and beautiful smiles.
 In her spare time, Dr. Kat enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her family and friends. She and her husband, Eddie, can usually be found chasing after their 2-year-old son, Kyler, when they aren’t working. In addition, she is an avid reader who loves both non-fiction and fiction literature and is an aspiring children’s book author.

Dr. Laura focuses on providing gentle comfort and the best patient care for all ages while taking her time to explain treatment options in a way that patients and parents can understand. She takes great pride in partnering with patients and parents to help them achieve and maintain a lifetime of excellent oral health from an early start.
 
Dr. Laura graduated with honors from the University of California, Davis, majoring in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in Biochemistry. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of California, San Francisco – School of Dentistry. In addition, she elected to do a year in an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program after graduation to further her knowledge and training.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Laura enjoys taking Peloton classes, experiencing different restaurants in the Bay Area, and cooking for her perpetually hungry toddler son and husband.
Dr. Samantha Bona

​Dr. Samantha Bona is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Sam was born and raised in Burlingame. She grew up with her Grandfather as her pediatric dentist and always knew she wanted to follow in his footsteps. Dr. Sam earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from San Jose State University. She moved to Arizona in 2011, where she earned her DMD degree from ATSU Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health. Upon graduating from dental school, Dr. Sam moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she practiced general dentistry for two years. It was there that she solidified her love for children as well as those with special health care needs. 
Dr. Sam completed her residency at Oregon Health & Sciences University, serving as chief resident her second year. She practiced in Molalla, Oregon before moving back to Arizona so that her husband could start his orthodontic residency at ASDOH. Dr. Sam practiced in Glendale, Arizona for almost three years before moving back to the Bay Area to be closer to family.
Dr. Sam is an active member of the College of Diplomates, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is also a huge sports fan! You can always find her cheering on the 49ers, SF Giants, Warriors and San Jose Sharks. In her free time she enjoys yoga, hiking, cooking and spending time with her family and friends, particularly her 4 year old son.

Dr. Liza Heron, a native of Ukraine, spent her formative years in Santa Cruz, California. She
graduated with honors from the University of California, Davis, majoring in Neurobiology,
Physiology, and Behavior, and minoring in Russian Literature. Dr. Liza developed a passion for
dentistry in college and pursued a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of
California, San Francisco.
Dr. Liza's dedication to professional development led her to complete an additional year of
training through an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program at NYU Langone
in Redding, CA. Before embarking on her journey toward specialization in pediatric dentistry,
Dr. Liza practiced as a general dentist at Dientes Community Clinic in Santa Cruz, as well as in
private practice in San Francisco. Committed to serving the underprivileged, Dr. Liza
volunteered for numerous outreach initiatives in the Bay Area and embarked on mission trips to
countries such as Costa Rica, Jamaica, and Mexico.
Dr. Liza completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry through NYU Langone - Hawaii.
Her residency spanned clinical and hospital rotations on the islands of Oahu, Maui, Lanai, and
Big Island. Additionally, she specialized in providing care to children with special needs through
Hawaiʻi Maternal & Child Health Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related
Disabilities Program. Dr. Liza assumed the role of chief resident in her second year,
demonstrating her leadership and clinical excellence.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Dr. Liza finds solace in her love for the outdoors, culinary
exploration, and gardening. She spends most of her weekends hiking or biking, reading
outdoors, and appreciating the many delicious food options in the Bay Area.
